HGP supports residential development in Birmingham | Midlands property news

Housing Growth Partnership (HGP), which is backed by Lloyds Bank and Homes England, has invested £1.3m in a residential development in Birmingham.

Located in Digbeth, the project comprises 39 one and two bedroom apartments in two separate buildings, close to the historic pub The Fountain Inn.

Developer 10M Group worked with HGP and the publican to save the Digbeth pub after revising plans and removing its conversion from the originally consented scheme.

Mike Murphy, Chief Investment Officer of HGP, said: “This development marks a significant milestone for us, marking the 100e and demonstrates that we are helping developers and home builders build a range of must-have properties with unique features.”

The 10M Group worked in conjunction with HGP and the Publican to save the Digbeth pub after revising the plans and removing its conversion from the originally consented scheme.

Russell Townsend, Managing Director of 10M Group, added: “As a design driven company, we could not have made this exciting project a reality without HGP’s investment and the speed and ease of working together.

“The conservation and refurbishment of the pub is the icing on the cake, and as well as using modern building methods to stand out from other developments, the courtyard will also be a valuable outdoor space for residents. We look forward to the work together again.”

All apartments will be ready for occupancy in 2023.
