Pueblo de Oro opens a new residential estate in Cebu

Mixed-use real estate developer Pueblo de Oro Development Corp. (PDO) recently launched a 3.7 hectare (ha) residential project located in its township of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

In a statement on Friday, PDO said it had opened Park Place II, the third exclusive subdivision of Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Mactan Township, at 1.63 billion pounds and 27.4 hectares in size.

Park Place II, which complements the earlier residential projects La Aldea Del Mar and Park Place, comprises 194 single attached units with three bedrooms each.

One unit, with a total area of 106.5 square meters, is located on a plot of 88 square meters. It costs at least 5.5 million pesos.

A three-tier commercial strip is also expected to come into service in the last quarter of this year, according to PDO.

The mall was to “provide residents with the ease and convenience of shopping for their daily needs”, the property developer said, noting that another was planned for next year.

Another ongoing project is the Pueblo de Oro Storeys Lapu-Lapu Condominiums.

This development comprises four six-storey buildings each housing 450 units in total. The first building should see the light of day by 2025.

“Cebu remains one of the most important provinces in the country in terms of progress and development,” said Ronald Allan Uy, Vice President of PDO and General Manager of Visayas Operations.

“The province itself also abounds in natural beauty, and we are honored to have the opportunity to offer quality housing projects so homeowners can share in the splendor that Cebu has to offer.” —Tyrone Jasper C. Piad
